China is warned against arms transfers
The US Department of Defense has warned that China will “face consequences” if it decides to provide deadly military assistance to Russia for a war against Ukraine.
Meanwhile, US President Joe Biden's administration is considering releasing intelligence data that may indicate that China is considering supplying weapons to Russia for a war against Ukraine.
Polish Leopards are ready for shipment
Polish President Andrzej Duda has said that the country has already prepared its Leopard 2 tanks for shipment to Ukraine. They are scheduled to be delivered within a month.
He noted that Ukrainian tankers are currently training on Leopard tanks at a Polish training center.
Lutsenko becomes platoon commander
Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valerii Zaluzhnyi has appointed former Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yuriy Lutsenko as a commander of a platoon of strike unmanned aerial vehicles of the corresponding company.
The former Prosecutor General's wife, Iryna, said on social media that Yuriy Lutsenko first served in the Kyiv Territorial Defense, then in Mykolaiv and Kherson, and now he has been serving with an aerial reconnaissance platoon in Donbas for more than three months.
Azov commander who survived captivity dies
The commander of the first battalion of the Azov regiment and defender of Mariupol, Oleh Mudrak, call sign “Sukhar”, who spent several months in Russian captivity and survived a terrorist attack in the Olenivka colony, has died.
The exact cause of death is not specified. Some of Oleh Mudrak's comrades-in-arms say that his heart stopped.
Communication with the occupied part of Kharkiv Oblast has been lost
In the Kharkiv Oblast, 29 settlements remain under temporary occupation, and there is no communication with them.
According to the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, residents of these settlements have been living without electricity for a year.
Kraken is spreading
Patients from four regions of Ukraine have been confirmed to have a mutation of the Omicron XBV.1.5 variant of the COVID strain, also called Kraken.
In particular, it is already circulating in Sumy, where the first patient was detected, Zakarpattia, Ternopil, and Odesa Oblasts.
