Consequences of the missile attack on Uman. Rescuers continue to clear the rubble (PHOTOS, VIDEO)
In Uman, 148 rescuers continue to dismantle the rubble of a multi—story building hit by a Russian missile.

As of 13:32, 16 people have been reported dead, including three children. One body fragment was also recovered from the rubble. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that two of the dead children “cannot be identified”, and the fate of their parents is unknown.
The work involved 148 rescuers and 36 equipment units. Police and medics are also working at the site.
The first entrance of the residential building was destroyed. According to preliminary information, 110 people were registered there. Out of 46 apartments, 27 were destroyed.
According to the State Emergency Service, 18 people were injured, 12 of them hospitalized.
Uman is also preparing places to accommodate the victims of a missile that hit a nine-story residential building. Most of the people are staying with friends and relatives. In Cherkasy CMA, we were informed about 5 families in need of accommodation. Places have been prepared in the dormitory of the educational institution, and local hotels are also ready to accept the victims.

On the night of April 28, the Ukrainian military shot down 21 of 23 missiles and two drones launched by Russian troops. The head of the Cherkasy Regional Military Administration, Ihor Taburets, said that there were two cruise missile hits in Uman: a residential building and a warehouse.
