Hromadske's art team sat down for an interview with Ukrainian illustrator Serhiy Maidukov, whose work has been published in Esquire Ukraine, The Boston Globe, The Architectural Review and other publications.Maidukov is originally from the Donetsk region and has followed recent political events in Ukraine very closely. The illustrator now lives in Kyiv, but has traveled back to his home region to deliver aid to Ukrainian fighters on the front lines. Five years ago, Maidukov said, he never imagined he would take an active involvement in politics. Now, politics are a major factor in his life.
