The presentation of the photobook “RAW: A History of Changes in Ukrainians and in the Ukrainian Armed Forces”, which documents the transformations of the Ukrainian army and society in the period between 2014 and 2016, took place in Kyiv.

The book includes 137 documentary photos taken by 33 photographers from Ukraine, Russia, Belarus and the USA. Photos were taken at the forefront and behind the lines and are followed by explanations about the place, time and circumstances under which they were taken.

Thus, the stories presented in the book allow monitoring and documenting of the formation of the modern Ukrainian Armed forces through the memories of witnesses and direct participants of this process.
