Anna Duritskaia's Lawyer On Her Return And Nemtsov's Murder
Anna Duritskaia, the main witness to Boris Nemtsov’s murder, returned to Ukraine late on 2 March but did not speak with the awaiting journalists.
She left the airport quickly in a blacked-out car. Instead, Vadim Prokhorov, a lawyer who worked with Nemtsov for 14 years and is now representing Anna, spoke to journalists. Prokhorov told reporters that it is unlikely that those pro-government groups who attacked Nemtsov in the past had carried out the murder. He said that he believed that those who killed Nemtsov would not have forewarned him of their intentions. ''If Duritskaia is required to fulfill any further witness duties, she will fulfill them", said Prokhorov.
