A new Ukrainian Doctrine
On June 28, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy addressed the plenary session of the Verkhovna Rada on the occasion of the 27th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of Ukraine.
He proposed the main guidelines for the future Ukrainian doctrine for national discussion:
- philosophy of Ukrainian victory;
- global nature of Ukrainian security;
- politics of heroes;
- politics of justice;
- transformation in 10 years.
Zelenskyy emphasized that Ukraine's victory is the restoration of sovereignty within internationally recognized state borders without any restrictions on sovereign rights.
According to him, Ukraine should be a co-creator, participant, and guarantor of global, European, and regional security.
Among the components of the policy of heroes, the head of state named the state's demand for soldiers who want to continue serving Ukraine and the people after the war.
A platform should also be developed to export Ukrainian defense knowledge, practices, and experience gained during the war.
Presidents of Poland and Lithuania in Kyiv
Presidents of Poland and Lithuania Andrzej Duda and Gitanas Nausėda visited Kyiv on the Constitution Day of Ukraine. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with them.
He expressed gratitude for the defense assistance provided by Poland and Lithuania.
In particular, Zelenskyy praised Warsaw's leadership in creating a tank coalition and active participation in the aviation coalition, including its willingness to train Ukrainian pilots on F-16 aircraft.
He also noted the decision announced on June 28 to purchase two NASAMS launchers from Lithuania to be transferred to Ukraine.
The leaders also coordinated their positions on the eve of the NATO summit in Vilnius.

First Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksandr Pavliuk said that law enforcement officers will monitor the lifestyle of the Territorial Recruitment Centers management, check them for violations of current legislation, in particular, the compliance of declarations with the “real lifestyle” of military enlistment officers.
At the same time, the military will analyze the performance of tasks.

Competition for the position of the Head of ARMA
Olena Duma has won the competition for the position of Head of the National Agency for Finding, Tracing, and Management of Assets Derived from Corruption and Other Crimes (ARMA).
She has more than 22 years of experience in government agencies and has been very active in anti-corruption and trade union organizations, organizing and participating in various rallies.
However, the international anti-corruption organization Transparency International Ukraine urged the members of the Cabinet of Ministers not to vote for the appointment of the winner of the competition.
The organization emphasizes that “Olena Duma's experience is not related to work in the field of criminal justice, nor is it related to asset management or tracing”.
In addition, the organization cited several arguments why Duma may be biased.
Renaming Zaporizhzhia
The Ministry of Education and Science's Commission on State Language Standards recommended changing the names of more than 1,400 villages, towns, and cities in Ukraine to get rid of the connection with Russian imperial policy.
For example, the list includes Zaporizhzhia, a city, and villages of the same name.
In response, the Commissioner for the Protection of the State Language, Taras Kremin, officially appealed to the Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine, Oksen Lisovyi, to cancel the decision.
Lisovyi said that the decision of the commission to rename settlements, including Zaporizhzhia, should be canceled.
