Kyiv's historic Zhovten' theater was set on fire late Wednesday evening during the screening of an LGBT film. The building was on fire for about an hour before enough firefighters arrived to put out the blaze. Police have opened an investigation into the incident and are unsure if the fire was started as the result of a ongoing property dispute over the theater's ownership, or if it was an LGBT hate crime.
