Plan for one million rounds of ammunition for Ukraine
On March 20, EU foreign ministers are to sign a plan to supply one million rounds of ammunition to Ukraine, Radio Liberty journalist Rikard Jozwiak said.
Earlier, Reuters reported that EU states would sign an agreement to purchase 155-mm artillery shells for Ukraine. In addition to all 27 EU members, Norway may join the agreement. EU officials said that it would take at least months before the ordered shells would reach Ukraine.
Car accident involving Servant of the People MP
On March 19, Volodymyr Hevko, an MP from the Servant of the People party, was involved in an accident that killed a man.
Hevko assured that he is cooperating with the investigation, has passed all alcohol and drug tests, passed all necessary tests, and will continue to participate in all investigative and procedural actions.
Montenegro fails to elect president in first round
None of the candidates in the March 19 presidential election in Montenegro managed to get more than half of the votes, so a second round will be held on April 2. It will be attended by the incumbent president, Milo Đukanović, and a representative of the Europe Now! movement, economist Jakov Milatović.
At the same time, the candidate of the pro-Serbian-Russian bloc, Andrija Mandić, did not make it to the second round. According to observers, this happened because the pro-Serbian-Russian coalition has had a majority in parliament for three years, and it has been almost constantly blocked due to quarrels between coalition partners.
