Klitschko speaks out about Zelenskyy

Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko said in an interview with the German newspaper Spiegel that he believes Ukraine is moving toward authoritarianism and may cease to be different from Russia, where "everything depends on the whim of one person." According to Klitschko, the President's Office considers mayors to be "atavism."

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, according to the mayor, is now "paying for his mistakes." At the same time, he added that the president now has an important function, and "we must support him until the end of the war." But, according to Klitschko, at the end of this war, "every politician will pay for their successes or failures."

At the same time, the Swiss newspaper 20 Minuten asked Klitschko if he had ambitions to run for president in the next election. He replied that it was unwise to think about it now: "At the same time, there is already a trench war going on among our politicians in a country that is already unstable in its existence. This is just stupidity. Therefore, it would be foolish to talk about my political ambitions now."
