The occupiers launched a new massive missile attack on Ukraine; employees of the Territorial Recruitment Center beat a man in Cherkasy because he allegedly threatened the military; Poland simplified the export of drones at Ukraine's request. Here is what you may have missed.
New massive missile attack
In the morning, the Russians launched a massive missile attack on Ukraine. An air alert was declared in all regions. Explosions were heard in Kyiv, air defense was operating: the road surface in the Obolon district was damaged, but there were no casualties.
In Dnipro, a woman and a 3-year-old child were killed by shelling.
In Uman, Cherkasy Oblast, a Russian missile hit a 9-story building, destroying the entire building entrance. A fire broke out. There is no information about the victims yet.

A video was posted online showing three employees of the Territorial Recruitment Center using force against a civilian man while serving a call-up notice.
The Cherkasy Regional Territorial Recruitment Center stated that the video was taken out of context and that the man was behaving provocatively, insulting, and threatening the military. They added that the Territorial Recruitment Center has launched an internal investigation.

Starting from April 28, drones can be exported from Poland to Ukraine based on a general permit issued by the Polish Minister of Development and Technology. The Polish government was asked to do so by Ukrainian officials.
“The decision of the Polish government will help speed up the supply of UAVs to the front, strengthen Ukraine's defense capabilities, and accelerate the victory over the aggressor,” said Taras Kachka, Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine.
Yesterday's Russian shelling
On April 27, Russians fired 27 times at the border communities of Sumy Oblast. In total, more than 130 hits from various weapons were recorded in the region over the day, and three residential buildings were damaged.
At the same time, Nikopol Raion in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast suffered from the occupiers' shelling, which took place 4 times during the day. An agricultural enterprise was damaged, killing 700 poultry.
Torture of civilian Ukrainians
From February 2022 to March 2023, human rights activists of the ZMINA Human Rights Center recorded 345 cases of torture of civilian Ukrainians by Russian occupiers.
Most often, Russians in the occupied territories tortured Ukrainians using electric shocks. Various cases of beatings were very common. The victims were also subjected to constant psychological pressure, witnessed the torture of other people, and became victims of various forms of intimidation.
Revenge on Prague for supporting Ukraine
Russian hackers attacked the servers of the Prague City Hall, calling it revenge for supporting Ukraine. For some time, the city hall website and the online broadcast of the council meeting were down. The municipality reported that the attack came from Russia: they are currently investigating which hacker group is behind the attack and analyzing the attack technique.
Electricity shortages are possible in the summer
Ukrenergo admits to a shortage of power generation capacity in the summer due to large-scale repairs of damage caused by Russian shelling. The company expects to compensate for the deficit by putting all possible capacities into operation and, if necessary, by importing electricity.
Journalist Oleksandr Bondarenko was killed
Ukrainian soldier, journalist, and employee of the RMA Strategic Communications Agency Oleksandr Bondarenko was killed in action with the Russian occupiers. He worked for BBC Ukraine and TRK Ukraine.
