Opposition Platform MP charged

Law enforcement officers have served a notice of suspicion of treason to MP Oleh Voloshyn, who was previously a member of the banned Opposition Platform — For Life faction.

According to the investigation, during 2020-2021, Oleh Voloshyn assisted the military and political leadership of the Russian Federation in subversive activities against Ukraine. In addition, the MP provided distorted information about the military-political and social sphere of Ukraine in his speeches and interviews. He justified the creation of the self-proclaimed "LPR" and "DPR" on the territory of Ukraine.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, despite significant losses, Russians do not give up their intentions to reach the administrative borders of Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts.

The occupiers are still focusing on conducting offensive operations on the Kupyansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiyivka and Novopavlivka axes, actively using aviation to strike at the positions of Ukrainian troops.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine also reported that the Ukrainian Defense Forces have already killed 135,740 Russian soldiers during the full-scale war. On February 9 alone, Russia lost approximately 730 more of its soldiers.
