Return of Mariupol teenager, change of commander of Ukrainian Armed Forces Medical Forces: highlights for November 19

Return of the Mariupol teenager
Bohdan Yermokhin, 18, who was abducted to Russia from occupied Mariupol, has returned to Ukraine. The return took place as a result of negotiations with the Russian side within the framework of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's approved Bring Kids Back UA action plan.
The Ombudsman's Office, Qatar, UNICEF, the Embassy of Ukraine in Belarus, the Orphans Feeding Foundation, and Ukrainian border guards took part in the operation.
Change of commander of Ukraine's Medical Forces
At the request of Defense Minister Rustem Umerov, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy dismissed the commander of the Medical Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Tetiana Ostashchenko. She will be replaced by Major General of the Medical Service Anatoliy Kazmirchuk.
Umerov said that the reasons for this decision "are obvious to everyone who fights in the ranks of the Ukrainian Defense Forces and everyone who helps."
Attacks on Ukrainian regions
Five people, including a child, were injured in the artillery shelling of Kherson. In the evening, Russians fired mortars at the civilian infrastructure of the town of Seredyna-Buda in Sumy Oblast. A man was killed as a result.
Overnight, Russian troops attacked Kyiv with Shahed drones. Air defense forces intercepted about a dozen targets.
