Russia's new conditions for ending the war
Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin has named the conditions for ending the war, which include new points. In particular, Russia now also demands that the Ukrainian armed forces cease hostilities and the supply of Western weapons, refuse to join the EU, and respect the “right to religion”.
Advisor to the Presidential Office Mykhailo Podolyak replied that “‘Demands of Russia’ told through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the RF rather confirm the legal and factual incapacity of the Russian leadership.” He emphasized that only Ukraine's counter conditions are realistic.
These include not only the withdrawal of Russian troops, but also the final recognition that the USSR collapsed, the establishment of a demilitarization zone on the territory of the Russian Federation, and the relinquishment of seized Russian assets in favor of Ukraine.
The case of Judge Tandyr
The prosecutor's office reported that biological samples were forcibly taken from the chairman of the Makariv District Court of Kyiv Oblast, Oleksii Tandyr. He is suspected of a fatal accident in which a 23-year-old National Guard soldier died.
