Russians' preparation for new attacks and support of Ukrainian culture by Belgium: last night's highlights

Civilians hit a mine in Kharkiv Oblast
On November 27, in Kharkiv Oblast, two men were injured as a result of explosions of ammunition, the regional police reported.
The first call was received by the police in the afternoon: A 56-year-old resident of the village of Kochubeivka stepped on an object that looked like a mine in his own yard. He injured his leg.
On the same day, an hour later, the police received a report about the injury of a 62-year-old resident of Kharkiv Oblast. The victim said that he was injured while trying to remove a tripwire in a forest plantation near the village of Mykolaivka. Investigators are deciding on the opening of criminal proceedings.
Ichkeria recognized the Holodomor as a genocide
The Government of the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria, which is a partially recognized state, recognized the Holodomor of 1932-1933 in Ukraine as an act of genocide against the Ukrainian people.
“Today, when Russia again commits aggression against Ukraine, it is very important to call historical events by their proper names. Throughout history, hiding behind statements of friendship and "brotherly nations", Moscow has been trying to destroy Ukrainians. One example of this is the artificially organized famine of 1932-1933...” - the document states.
Russians are preparing for new strikes
In his evening video address, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy warned that Russian occupiers are preparing new strikes on the territory of Ukraine. According to him, the coming week can be “as difficult as the outgoing one”.
“We understand that terrorists are preparing new strikes. We know it for sure. And as long as they have missiles, unfortunately, they will not calm down,” the Head of State said.
Assistance to Ukrainian culture from Belgium
Minister of Culture Oleksandr Tkachenko said that Belgium will allocate €150 thousand of assistance to Ukraine for the cultural sphere, the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy reports.
“We have agreed on important cooperation: Ukrainian cultural seasons in Belgium, supply of generators to our institutions and media for the winter, spreading the ban on Russian propaganda, assistance in preserving Ukrainian cultural heritage, and assistance in the amount of €150 thousand to the cultural sphere,” Tkachenko said.
