Kyiv school children are weaving camouflage nets for the soldiers. Students, educators, or anyone interested can contribute in creating this protective camouflage screening. The initiative was created by the “Wings of the Phoenix” voluntary organization who have also provided the material needed to create the nets. Yulia, a resettled 10th Grader from Donetsk added that this was one way that she could help in the war effort. As the war in eastern Ukraine drags into its eight month, a wide range of volunteer organizations have emerged to help fulfill both the country's military needs and to aid those affected by the war.
