Ukraine has returned two more children held by the occupiers in the occupied territories and Russia. The return of 11-year-old Mark and 18-year-old Danylo was fought for almost two months. This was reported by the Ministry of Reintegration.
On October 17, the boys' mother Yuliia appealed to the Ministry of Reintegration with a request to help evacuate her sons: Mark from temporarily occupied Torez in Donetsk Oblast and Danylo from Russia.
Yuliia herself, a native of Torez, was a prisoner of the occupiers for a long time. She was released as a result of the “women's exchange” when 108 women returned to Ukraine from Russian captivity.
Occupants shelled Kherson in the morning
Russian occupation troops shelled Kherson again on the morning of December 17. This was reported by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration Yaroslav Yanushevych.
The Russians shelled the Korabelnyi district of the city with artillery and multiple rocket launchers. A 36-year-old man who was in a car was killed. At the same time, a 70-year-old woman was taken to the hospital with a wound.
The body of a 1.5-year-old boy found under the rubble in Kryvyi Rih
On the night of December 17, rescuers found the body of a 1.5-year-old boy under the rubble of a building destroyed by a Russian missile in Kryvyi Rih. The death toll in this building increased to four. This was reported by the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration Valentyn Reznichenko.
