The fourth meeting of national security advisers and foreign policy advisers to heads of state has begun in the Swiss city of Davos. Representatives of more than 80 countries and international organizations will discuss the "peace formula" of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

On the sidelines of the meeting, Ukraine launched bilateral security talks with Romania. Romania became the ninth country with which Ukraine negotiated security guarantees.

Resumption of the blockade of Romanian carriers

Romanian farmers have resumed a blockade near the Siret checkpoint, which is located opposite Ukraine's Porubne. On January 13, a similar blockade of traffic in Romania lasted for six hours.

Later, it became known that Romanian farmers and carriers would continue their protests after unsuccessful negotiations with their Ministry of Finance, which lasted about four hours.

Death of a child after tooth extraction

A 5-year-old boy who had been in a coma for more than a month after unsuccessful extraction of his milk teeth in one of the city's clinics died in Lviv.

The father said that his wife took her son to the local Ori-Dent clinic to have two baby teeth removed. During the surgery, the child suffered a cardiac arrest. The child was resuscitated, but he fell into a coma, from which he never came out.

The Prosecutor General's Office opened a criminal investigation into the child's death.

Details of the fire in the Kyiv mall

Law enforcement officers have established new details of the fire in Kyiv's Cosmo Multimall amusement park, where three people were injured, including an 8-year-old girl.

According to investigators, the fire was caused by an arson by a 7-year-old boy.

The parents and the child were invited to the Solomianskyi Police Department to give evidence. Investigators opened criminal proceedings under Part 2 of Article 194 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (intentional destruction or damage to property).

The spokesperson for the Ukrainian Air Force, Yuriy Ihnat, said that local authorities can allocate resources for the purchase of electronic warfare equipment to protect themselves from Russian drones and missiles.

According to him, "this work is already underway," and the heads of some companies are already planning to protect their own facilities from air strikes in this way.
