Budanov said that the war will last a long time
The head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kyrylo Budanov, admits that the Russian-Ukrainian war may continue for a long time — the Russians simply will not sign a single agreement with Kyiv and the coalition of allies.
In the event of a protracted war, as the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate clarified, Russia will continue to randomly shell the territory of Ukraine, but will not conduct powerful military operations.
However, Budanov also believes that 2025 could launch destructive processes within the Russian Federation. “There is hope that 2025 will be a turning point regarding internal systemic destructive changes and processes in the Russian state, society, and economy. But this is not a forecast, but an expectation,” he emphasized.
