Success of Ukrainian troops in the south and shelling of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast: the last night’s highlights

The Ukrainian military in the south destroyed 40 Russians, four tanks, and an ammunition depot; the occupiers shelled Dnipropetrovsk Oblast with Uragan MRLS — there are casualties and injuries. Here is what you may have missed from the previous night.
Shooting down missiles
Around 20:30 on September 11, the occupiers fired 12 cruise missiles into the territory of Ukraine. 9 of them were shot down by anti-aircraft missile units of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“Decisive victory” in the battle for Kharkiv Oblast
Ukraine achieves a “decisive victory” in the battle with the Russian invaders for Kharkiv Oblast. This assessment was given by the American Institute for the Study of War (ISW) given the recent counteroffensive success of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
According to ISW, the Ukrainian military liberated territory northwest, north, and northeast of Kharkiv and ended the Russian ground and artillery threat to Ukraine's second-largest city.
Success of the Armed Forces in the south
On September 11, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine made three strikes in the south. Missile and artillery units carried out 270 fire missions, associated with the destruction of the concentration of enemy weapons and hardware, a radio-electronic warfare station, and two ammunition depots.
The OC South confirmed that during the day on the southern front, the Russian occupying forces lost:
- 40 soldiers;
- 4 tanks;
- 4 armored vehicles;
- 3 Msta-S self-propelled howitzers;
- an ammunition depot in Kakhovka.
Shelling of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast
On the evening of September 11, the Russians shelled the Velykomykhailivka community, Synelnykove Raion, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, with rocket launchers. A man and a woman died as a result of the shelling. A 19-year-old girl is in serious condition in the hospital.
Agreement to increase grain exports
French Minister of Transport Clément Beaune said on September 11 that France will sign an agreement with Romania on assistance in increasing the export of Ukrainian grain to developing countries, in particular to the Mediterranean Basin.
Imprisonment for passing on information about the Armed Forces
The court sentenced a resident of Sloviansk, Donetsk Oblast, to 8 years in prison. Prosecutors proved that the man leaked information about the location of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to the Russians through a social network banned in Ukraine.
