The Sunday Show: Formula to End Donbas War and Where Ukraine/US Officials' Text Messages Lead

Whilst the buzzword "Steinmeier formula" and the concept of resolution of the Donbas conflict has been in the air for several weeks, it was this Tuesday that brought the news that Ukraine agreed to the formula in the framework of the Minsk agreements. In response to the stir the concept has created which also led to protests in central Kyiv, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy posted a video late on Thursday in an attempt to calm the nation. The demonstrations seem to have dissipated, although a new protest is taking place on Sunday, thus the topic remains a burning issue on the agenda of Ukrainian citizens. On a different note, Kurt Volker handed over to Congress a number of text exchanges with American and Ukrainian top officials which were published by The New York Times.
