The new sanctions list includes the former mayor of Kherson and the current head of the occupation administration of the Kherson Oblast Volodymyr Saldo, as well as his "deputy" Kyrylo Stremousov. The restrictions were also imposed against Kostyantyn Ivashchenko, the head of the Mariupol occupation administration.
Sanctions also targeted the Skolkovo technopark and a number of technological plants and institutes. In general, more than 10 people, 30 companies, and 2 vessels were added to the list.
Earlier, in May, the UK introduced sanctions against Alina Kabayeva and Putin's family.
