UK will allocate approximately $310 million for ammunition for Ukraine

Over the next year, the UK will spend £245 million (just over $310 million) on ammunition for Ukraine.

This was reported by the country's Ministry of Defence.

These funds will be used to purchase and activate supply chains to produce the necessary artillery shells to increase Ukraine's stockpile.

The UK emphasized that the announcement of this package occurred on the second anniversary of the Russian full-scale invasion. It is noted that during this time artillery has proven to be “critical for Ukraine’s success on the battlefield”.

In addition, the British authorities have entered into a new multi-million pound series of contracts with Cook Defense Systems to provide the Ukrainian Armed Forces with hundreds of spare tracks for tanks and armored vehicles. This will allow the restoration of vehicles damaged by anti-tank weapons and landmines.
