Ukrainian Armed Forces hit two large Russian landing ships in Sevastopol – Strategic Communications Center
Overnight the Ukrainian Defense Forces successfully hit two large landing ships Yamal and Azov of the Russian Black Sea Fleet in the temporarily occupied Sevastopol, reported the Ukrainian Armed Forces' Strategic Communications Center.
Allegedly, in addition to the ships, a communications center and several infrastructure facilities of the Russian Black Sea Fleet were hit in Sevastopol.
On the night of March 24, explosions were heard in Sevastopol. Crimean Wind Telegram channel reported likely hits in the area of the former headquarters of the Ukrainian Navy, where a Russian military unit is now located.
The OSINTtechnical project reported at least three Storm Shadow cruise missiles that hit the main communications center of the Russian Black Sea Fleet. The military units of missile gunners and the FSB are located in the area of the possible hit. The project also wrote about a hit on an oil depot in the village of Hvardiyske, where a fire broke out.
The Russian occupation governor, Mikhail Razvozhayev, called the attack on Sevastopol "the most massive in recent times." He claims that one person was killed and four others were injured.
The Kremlin Secrets Telegram channel writes that the strike killed more than 30 Russian soldiers and damaged three Su-27 aircraft. Ukrainian troops hit a "well-camouflaged command post in Sevastopol, with more than two dozen officers in it at the time of the strike."
