Lviv received the status of European Youth Capital 2025

The European Youth Forum awarded Lviv the status of the European Youth Capital 2025. Young people from other cities of Ukraine also participated in the creation of the application. To win, the city had to prepare a plan of its own youth policy.

The status of the European Youth Capital is awarded to the city for one year. This title allows the winning city to attract attention and involve residents in the interaction within the projects. This leads to support for youth and their rights, as well as improves communication with other European cities, because not only local people are involved in such activities.
