Woman in war. The story of Maria Berlinska, a volunteer in the Ukrainian Army

Hromadske's report about volunteer in the Anti—Terrorist Operation Zone.
Maria Berlinska is a Kyiv-Mohyla Academy graduate and has a Master’s Degree in History. She is a now a volunteer with the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Berlinska was collecting money for thermal imaging when she realized that drones could save the lives of hundreds of soldiers. She founded the Ukrainian Center for Drone Intelligence, which provides the Ukrainian Army with drones and teaches people how to fly them.
“We are losing this country. The war has been going on for 3 years. There are still “Cargos 200”. We don’t even have Phantoms – the Chinese drones that cost USD $1,000!” she explains.
The Center received 140 thousand UAH (about 5.5 thousand USD) in financial aid, since Berlinska began her advocacy campaign.
