Fighting at the front

Zelenskyy visits Odesa Oblast
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited Odesa Oblast on the occasion of the Day of the Navy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He met with the military, including Navy Commander Oleksiy Neyizhpapa.
In Odesa, the head of state congratulated the Ukrainian Navy service members and cadets on the holiday, awarded the military, and visited wounded soldiers in hospital.
Scandal with Russian songs
In the village of Pohreby in Kyiv Oblast, a visitor was pushed out of a cafe for making a comment to people who were singing a song by Russian singer Grigory Leps.
The police drew up a report against the establishment. After a court decision, the cafe owner will have to pay a fine, the Interior Ministry said.
World War II fighter planes unearthed near Kyiv
During excavations in the woods near Kyiv, British Hawker Hurricane aircraft from the Second World War were found. These planes were part of a package of military support for the USSR from the Allies, paid for by the United States under the Lend-Lease.
