Ukraine’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has introduced Viktoriia Shi, a consular representative created using artificial intelligence technologies.
She will officially comment on consular information for the media, but will not replace the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
Ukraine's Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said that the use of artificial intelligence in the work of the Foreign Ministry is “not a whim, but a requirement of wartime”, because in order to achieve the results necessary for the country, all processes need to be accelerated.
Ukrposhta explains its swearing
Ukrposhta stated that it “respects other opinions and the right to express them”, but “does not respect ill-manneredness and rudeness”, as the company responded to criticism on social media over a post with a swear word on the X platform.
Ukrposhta CEO Ihor Smilianskyi said that the chance to do “something good” and not get criticized or prosecuted in Ukrainian society is tantamount to a miracle. Therefore, as Smilianskyi noted, when “doing something”, one must take responsibility and not pay attention to “who wrote about you and what they wrote about you”.
Metropolitan Luke was served with a notice of suspicion
After the searches, the Security Service of Ukraine served a notice of suspicion to Metropolitan Luka of Zaporizhzhia and Melitopol of the UOC-MP for inciting religious hatred.
According to the investigation, the metropolitan expressed his disdain for parishioners of other faiths in conversations with parishioners and during liturgies.
For this, he faces up to 5 years in prison. The issue of choosing a preventive measure for the Metropolitan is also being resolved.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has dismissed Illia Vitiuk from the post of head of the Department for Counterintelligence Protection of the State's Interests in the Field of Information Security of the Security Service of Ukraine. On the night of May 1, Russian occupation forces launched another missile attack on Odesa, killing three people.
In the morning, Russian occupation forces struck a car and a house in the village of Zolochiv, Kharkiv region, with guided aerial bombs. Two people were reported dead. Later, the Russians fired on the village of Leliukivka in the Kupiansk district, Kharkiv region. One person was killed in the attack.
In the afternoon, the occupiers attacked the town of Hirnyk in the Donetsk region with a Uragan multiple rocket launcher system. Two people were killed and six others were wounded.
Private military companies may appear in Ukraine
The Verkhovna Rada has registered a bill that proposes to establish defense companies in Ukraine. The intention is, in particular, to solve the employment problem of former military personnel after demobilization.
