On June 8, a multi-purpose Su-57 fighter jet was hit for the first time in its history at the Russian airfield Akhtubinsk, located in the Astrakhan region and 589 kilometers from the contact line in Ukraine.

The images show that on June 7, the Su-57 was intact, but the next day, craters from the explosion and characteristic fire spots appeared near it, caused by the fire damage.

Later, the DIU clarified that not one but two Russian Su-57s might have been hit during the strike on the airfield. The intelligence also has information about the dead and wounded among the Russians.

France invites allies to join coalition of instructors for Ukraine

The Welt newspaper, citing sources, writes that French President Emmanuel Macron wants to create a coalition to send Western military instructors to Ukraine. To this end, Paris has sent invitation letters to its allies.

In total, letters were sent to the United States and about ten European countries, including the United Kingdom, Poland, the Netherlands, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Denmark, and Sweden. In them, Paris invites the respective governments to participate in a training mission to Ukraine.

Details of a man's death at TRC in Zhytomyr region

During the investigation, the Zhytomyr Territorial Recruitment Center managed to find out new details about the death of a person liable for military service after visiting a military enlistment office.

It became known that they decided to send the man home after bringing him to the TRC, but he allegedly wanted to stay because he lived alone and felt bad. The next day he had an epileptic seizure, during which he fell to the floor and hit his head.

Referral to the “Reserve+” for a military medical examination

The Ministry of Defense is considering the possibility of introducing an electronic referral to the military medical commission (MMC) for citizens who previously had the status of “limited fitness” into the Reserve+ app.

The Defense Ministry believes that such a function should relieve the MMC and help avoid additional queues.

Testing of Ukrainian guided aerial bombs

In a few weeks, the Armed Forces of Ukraine will begin testing Ukrainian-made guided aerial bombs.

Currently, work is underway to re-equip and create our own adjusted bombs based on conventional free-fall bombs. Such bombs contain design nuances, so for their conversion, it is necessary, in particular, to select a wing, GPS module, and control module.

Macron dissolves the parliament

French President Emmanuel Macron has announced that he is dissolving the country's parliament, the National Assembly, and calling new elections, the first round of which will take place on June 30 and the second on July 7.

He made this decision amid the results of the European Parliament elections. According to exit polls, the far-right party of pro-Russian Marine Le Pen, the National Rally, won in France. Meanwhile, Macron's party, the National Revival, came in second.
