Ukrainian hackers again attack Russian companies that support war

Activists of the BO_Team cyber community, together with Ukrainian intelligence, conducted a series of operations, during which they destroyed important data and equipment of Russian companies that support the war against Ukraine, reported the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

Over the past week, hackers destroyed more than 100 terabytes of data belonging to OrbitSoft, a software developer that performed contracts for the Russian army.

Cyber activists also destroyed all data on eight servers of Orient Systems, a developer and supplier of navigation equipment. This company cooperated with Russian manufacturers of military equipment, in particular unmanned aerial vehicles.

In addition, Ukrainian hackers destroyed all data on 19 servers of Internet providers in the city of Nizhny Novgorod - "Linktelecom NN" and "Access Telecom". All subscribers of these providers received letters reminding them of the "inevitable retribution" for the war against Ukraine.

Сyber attacks also lasted for two days recently in Crimea: Defense Intelligence specialists "turned off" cash registers and traffic on the Kerch bridge in the occupied peninsula. Before that, they attacked the infrastructure of Crimean Internet providers.
