Attack on an oil depot in Rostov Oblast
hromadske's source in the law enforcement agencies reported that overnight on July 13, the SBU carried out a drone attack on an oil depot with fuel in Russia’s Rostov Oblast.
According to our interlocutor, the object where various brands of gasoline and diesel fuel with a total volume of 12,500 cubic meters were stored was attacked.
The Office of the President wants to ratify the Rome Statute
The deputy head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Iryna Mudra, said that she "sets herself the goal" to close the issue of ratification of the Rome Statute in Ukraine by the end of 2024.
Earlier, the Minister of Justice Denys Malyuska explained that the Ukrainian military had formed a false opinion that after the ratification of the Rome Statute, military personnel and volunteers would begin to be arrested abroad at the request of Russia.
Russian attacks
Russian troops attacked the village of Budy in Kharkiv Oblast, soon they struck again. Two people were killed (a rescuer and a policeman) and 22 were wounded.
In Kherson Oblast, the Russian military hit the residential sector of Chornobayivka. A 16-year-old girl was injured. She lost her arm. In addition, Russian troops attacked Pryozerne in the Kherson district: women aged 72 and 50 were killed.
In Donetsk Oblast, as a result of Russian attacks, four people were killed and five more were injured. The Russians dropped two aerial bombs on the village of Novoocheretuvate, one of them fell on the yard of the house.
In Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, the Russian troops directed a drone at a fire brigade and rescuers who were putting out the flames. A firefighter was injured.
The Czech Republic will deliver 500,000 shells to Ukraine
The Czech Republic has set itself the task of sending 500,000 artillery shells to Ukraine this year.
The first shells on the Czech initiative arrived in Ukraine in June. 50,000 shells were handed over to the Defense Forces.
Poland offers to supply electricity to Ukraine
Poland turned to the European Commission with a proposal to supply Ukraine with electricity produced from Polish coal. However, on the condition that it will not pay for these emissions.
European Commission spokesman Tim McPhie explained that electricity produced by power plants in the EU and delivered to Ukraine falls under the normal rules of the Emissions Trading System (ETS), and therefore power plants must buy allowances and pay for emissions.
Lukashenko ordered the withdrawal of troops from the border
The self-proclaimed president of Belarus, Aliaksandr Lukashenka, instructed to withdraw the troops from the "southern borders" to their deployment locations. According to him, the situation on the Belarusian-Ukrainian border has "stabilized".
Ukrainian children were sent to a camp in Spain with "unbearable" conditions
The Office of the Ombudsman of Ukraine received complaints from children who were sent to a summer camp in Spain organized by Ukrainians. The conditions there turned out to be "unbearable", and the owner threatens to "throw out" all those who are dissatisfied, the statement reads.
At the same time, the owner of the camp announced an attempt by competitors to discredit his business and "force majeure" due to the unfinished new facility at the time of the children's arrival.
