A Russian ferry was hit in the Sea of Azov

The Ukrainian military struck the Russian railway ferry Slavyanin in the port of Kavkaz in Krasnodar Krai of the Russian Federation on the shores of the Sea of Azov.

According to the General Staff, Slavyanin is the third and last Russian railway ferry in that region.

Martial law and mobilization continued

The Verkhovna Rada supported draft laws on the extension of martial law and general mobilization for 90 days. This was already the 12th vote of the Ukrainian parliament regarding the extension of martial law and mobilization. Now the bills must be signed by the president.

FM Kuleba arrived in China

Sentence to the pensioner who sent explosives to Ukrainian embassies

In Spain, 74-year-old Pompeo Gonzalez Pascual was sentenced, who in 2022 sent letters with explosives to the Embassy of Ukraine and other agencies in Spain.

The government has determined the beginning of the new academic year

The majority of Ukrainians are against territorial concessions

Since May 2023, the number of Ukrainians who are ready to make territorial concessions in order to achieve peace as soon as possible has begun to increase. However, they are still a minority among those surveyed.

The majority of Ukrainians — 55% — oppose any territorial concessions.
