Results of another day of the Olympics

Ukrainian tennis player Marta Kostyuk defeated the eighth ranked player in the world, Maria Sakkari, and advanced to the quarterfinals of the 2024 Olympics. Her next match will take place on July 31 against Croatian Donna Vekic.

Another Ukrainian tennis player, Elina Svitolina, lost to her opponent in the 1/8 finals, and Dayana Yastremska — in the second round of the singles tournament. Hungary simplified entry for Russians and Belarusians. EU considers this a threat

Hungary simplified entry to the country for people with Russian and Belarusian passports. This happened after Prime Minister Viktor Orbán visited Moscow, where he met with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.

The European People's Party, which is the largest in the bloc, considers Hungary's decision to relax visa restrictions for Russians and Belarusians a risk to "national security," the Financial Times wrote. In particular, the EU talks about threats of spies. They are convinced that the bloc's leaders should take urgent countermeasures.
