DIU drones destroy three aircraft at an airfield in Russia. Five more MiG-31s damaged
The military of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine attacked the Savasleyka airfield in the Nizhny Novgorod region of Russia. As a result, three aircraft were destroyed and five others were damaged.
This was reported to hromadske by sources in military intelligence.
One of the strikes was carried out on August 16, when a MiG-31K/I and two Il-76 aircraft were destroyed at the airfield. Another 5, probably MIG-31K/I, were damaged.
In addition, Savasleyka was also attacked on August 13. A fuel and lubricant depot was hit and a MiG-31K/I aircraft was damaged. At the time of the attack on August 13, 11 MiG-31K/I aircraft, an Il-76, five Mi-8 and five Mi-24 helicopters were at the Russian airfield.
On the morning of August 14, Russian Telegram channels reported “10 hits” at the Savasleyka military airbase. At the time, the area was allegedly blocked off.
