The FSB opened a criminal case against a hromadske journalist
The FSB of the Russian Federation opened a criminal case against hromadske journalist Diana Butsko and other media persons who filmed reports from Kursk Oblast, where the offensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces is ongoing. All of them are accused of "illegal border crossing".
Diana Butsko said that she sees this as a pressure on independent journalism and a desire to hide the truth in the territories where hostilities continue.
The Third Assault Brigade starts conteroffensive in Kharkiv Oblast
The Third Separate Assault Brigade of the Ground Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces announced that it had conducted a counterattack operation in Kharkiv Oblast and advanced deep into the front.
According to the military, the brigade took control of the Russian battalion defense area, enemy platoon, and company strongholds and moved deep into the front by almost 2 km².
DIU hackers hacked Russian television
Hackers of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine attacked the servers of Russian TV channels, after which a number of TV companies broadcast videos about the war in Ukraine.
Russian cyber specialists tried to correct the situation, but as a result of their actions, the broadcast of nine Russian TV channels was stopped at once.
Strikes on the Marinovka airfield and the port Kavkaz
The Ukrainian military attacked the Marinovka military airfield in Russia’s Volgograd Oblast. According to the hromadske source, the attack was carried out by the Security Service of Ukraine and the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In addition, Russia reported an attack on the Kavkaz port, after which the ferry has sunk.
Ukraine took control of another point in Kursk Oblast
Oleksandr Syrskyi, head of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, reported to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy about the establishment of control over another settlement in Kursk Oblast and the next replenishment of the exchange fund.
Volodymyr Artyukh, the head of the Sumy regional military administration, noted that after the start of the operation in Kursk Oblast, there has been a decrease in gunfire and a decrease in civilian casualties.

The deputy head of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports, Mykhailo Vynnytskyi, said that it is likely that a plan will have to be drawn up to ensure the education of children in the territories controlled by Ukraine in Russia’s Kursk Oblast.
