Ammunition warehouse catches fire due to drone attack in Russia's Voronezh Oblast

A warehouse with ammunition caught fire as a result of an overnight attack by drones in the Ostrogozhsk district of Voronezh Oblast. The detonation continues, about 200 Russians have already been evacuated, reported the Russian service of Radio Liberty and the governor of Voronezh Oblast Aleksandr Gusev.

According to the Voronezh regional governor, the Russian air defense forces allegedly neutralized five drones last night. However, due to falling fragments, a fire started, which "caused the detonation of explosive objects".

Gusev did not mention that the warehouse was on fire, however, Radio Liberty reported this. Later, the governor added that "to clear the aftermath of the fire and detonation" a state of emergency was introduced in three settlements.

"Evacuation of one village and one garden society was carried out - about 200 people. A temporary accommodation center has been deployed, but almost all residents have been accommodated with relatives," Gusev wrote.

He added that due to damage to the power line in one of the villages of the Ostrogozhsk district, there may be power outages. The governor also urged locals not to publish photos and videos of the fire at the ammunition warehouse.
