The Mi-2 helicopter of the Kharkiv Air Force University crashed during a training flight. Two people died.
The educational institution said that investigators, specialized experts and specialists of the special commission of the Ministry of Defense are working at the scene.
Drones attacked Moscow and other Russian cities
At once, 10 regions of Russia were attacked by drones on the evening of August 31 and in the early hours of September 1. The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation announced the interception of allegedly 158 Ukrainian drones.

Russia hit civilian objects in Ukraine
Overnight on August 31, Russians attacked the village of Slatyne, Kharkiv district: six people were injured, including a pregnant woman.
In the morning, as a result of Russian shelling, three residents of the town of Liubotyn in Kharkiv Oblast were injured.
The aggressor also struck another blow at the central part of Kurakhove. The troops of the Russian Federation were allegedly firing from the Uragan multiple-launch rocket systems. Four people died.
In addition, the Russians hit three locations in Kharkiv with missiles: the Palace of Sports, the shopping center, and the Hydropark area. 47 people were injured, including 7 children.
On the evening of September 1, Russia launched a missile attack on an orphanage and a center for socio-psychological rehabilitation of children in Sumy.
NYT: US doubts F-16 was shot down with a Patriot missile
US officials consider the version that the Ukrainian F-16 fighter jet was shot down by "friendly fire" from the Patriot anti-aircraft missile complex to be unlikely, the New York Times writes, citing anonymous sources.
According to them, American and Ukrainian investigators are considering a number of versions, including a technical malfunction or pilot error.
Abuse of a child: the police officers were suspended
Four policemen were suspended from duty due to the case of sexual violence against a 12-year-old boy in Kotelva, Poltava Oblast.
The prosecutor's office said that the police did not enter information about the commission of the crime into the Unified Register of Pretrial Investigations after the victim's mother appealed.
Contaminated water moves to Chernihiv
The movement of polluted substances from the Seym River is gradually slowing down. This water will reach Chernihiv approximately on September 3-5.
Meanwhile, in Sumy Oblast, the stabilization of the state of the Seym is observed from the border with the Russian Federation to the village of Chaplyshchi, Sumy Oblast.

On the fourth day of the competition at the 2024 Paralympic Games in Paris, Ukrainian athletes won 8 medals: 2 gold, 1 silver and 5 bronze. In total, Ukraine already has 27 medals.
