Attack on Ukraine, elections in Georgia: October 26 highlights

Russia hit Ukraine with almost a hundred missiles and drones, air defense shot down 44 drones, but there were casualties. Parliamentary elections have passed in Georgia, ballots are being processed. Russian attack

Overnight, Russian troops attacked Ukraine with 7 missiles and 91 Shahed 131/136 strike drones. Anti-aircraft defense neutralized 44 UAVs.

In Kyiv, Russian troops targeted a 25-story building in the city's Solomyansky district with a drone, resulting in the death of 14-year-old Maria Troyanivska. In Kyiv Oblast, a 13-year-old child was injured, and another person died in the hospital.

In Dnipro, the aggressor targeted residential buildings in the city: 5 people died, 21 others were injured. Among the damaged infrastructure is the Illya Mechnikov Hospital.

In addition, the Russians also attacked Khmelnytskyi. There, as a result of the hits in four settlements, in particular in the regional center, power partially disappeared.

Parliamentary elections have ended in Georgia. Results are being counted there

The Central Election Commission of Georgia has published the preliminary results of voting in the parliamentary elections from almost 70% of precincts. The data show that the ruling party Georgian Dream is in the lead. Even before that, the political force announced its victory.

Incidents were reported. In particular, during the voting, an unknown man immediately threw a bundle of ballots into the ballot box at the Georgian polling station in Marneuli. Voting at the site was stopped early.

The G7 countries agreed on a $50 billion loan to Ukraine
