Sodol seems to be no longer in the Armed Forces
MP Mariana Bezuhla stated that Lieutenant General and former commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Yurii Sodol was dismissed from the Armed Forces based on the decision of the military medical commission.
Later, Ukrainska Pravda's sources confirmed this and clarified that it had happened on October 14. At the same time, the head of the Armed Forces Public Relations Department, Bohdan Senyk, said he had no official information about Sodol's dismissal.
Earlier, the chief of staff of the Azov Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine, Bohdan Krotevych, filed a complaint against Sodol with the State Bureau of Investigation, calling for an investigation against him.
New aid from the United States
The United States announced a $425 million military aid package for Ukraine. This is the 69th package provided by the administration of President Joe Biden.
The Ukrainian army will receive shells for NASAMS anti-aircraft missile systems, HIMARS missile systems, air-to-ground missiles, artillery ammunition, Stryker armored personnel carriers, and other weapons.
Da Vinci's brother dies
The younger brother of serviceman Dmytro Kotsiubaylo (call sign Da Vinci), Ivan, died on October 31, the day before his brother's birthday. The cause of Ivan's death is unknown.
Today, on November 1, Dmytro Kotsiubailo, commander of the 1st Da Vinci Wolves Brigade, would have turned 29. A service was held in his memory at Askold's Grave in Kyiv.
Zelenskyy gets a response about Polish Mig-29s
Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski responded to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's accusations that Warsaw refused to hand over its Mig-29 fighter jets. According to him, Poland has done more for Ukraine than any other country.
“We are trying to help, but we are also a frontline country. Russia also threatens us, and not everything is possible,” he added.

Yuliia Sidorova (Cuba), a combat medic with the 92nd separate assault brigade named after Ivan Sirko, said that she had been transferred to another unit and that her evacuation service had been disbanded. The reasons for this, she said, were not explained.
In her opinion, these are “sabotage actions, undermining the combat capability of my battalion and the general collapse of the army from within”. She says she does not want to serve in the battalion to which she was transferred because she “cannot be effective there”.
Later, the 92nd Separate Assault Brigade stated that they were considering Kuba's transfer documents, but they did not explain why she had been transferred to the battalion from which she had threatened to leave without permission..
