Authorization for strikes deep into Russia, a massive attack and shelling of Sumy: highlights for November 17

Massive attack

Authorization to use ATACMS on territory of Russia

As of 23:35, 10 people were reported dead, including two children — a 9-year-old boy and a 14-year-old girl. Twenty residents, including 3 children, sought medical assistance.
Drone factory allegedly attacked in Russia
On the morning of November 17, an attack by drones was reported in the Udmurt Republic, Russia. The drones allegedly attacked the Kupol plant located in Izhevsk, the capital of the republic.
Ukraine to reintroduce blackout schedules
Starting Monday, November 18, blackout schedules will be introduced in all regions of Ukraine. The reason for this is the damage to power facilities during the massive Russian attack on November 17.
