Detention of the chief psychiatrist of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

Preventive measures in the case of the defense breach in Kharkiv Oblast

The Pecherskyi District Court of Kyiv has ordered the former commander of the Kharkiv operational-tactical grouping Yuriy Halushkin to be held in custody with the possibility of posting bail of 5 million hryvnias ($118,662). Colonel Illya Lapin was also taken into custody. Both are involved in the case of improper defense of Kharkiv Oblast.

Defense Forces attacked an oil depot and a plant in Russia

Overnight on January 20, the Ukrainian Defense Forces attacked a number of important facilities on the territory of the Russian Federation.

For the second time in a week, drones of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine struck the Liski oil depot in Voronezh Oblast. The infrastructure of the Smolensk Aviation Plant was also hit.

Police identify participants in beating of girl in Bila Tserkva

Law enforcement officers have identified ten participants in the incident involving the beating of a 12-year-old girl in Bila Tserkva, Kyiv Oblast. The actions of the participants in the crime have been reclassified: a pre-trial investigation is ongoing into torture (Part 1 of Article 127 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

One of the defendants, a 16-year-old boy, has already been charged with torture and extortion during martial law (Part 4 of Article 189, Part 1 of Article 127 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

The Kyiv Oblast Military Administration is keeping the situation under control, and representatives of the commissioner have already met with the girl and the principal of the school where her abusers study.
