Russia attacks Ukraine with four Iskander missiles and 92 drones. 57 UAVs downed

Overnight, Russian forces fired four Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles, as well as 92 Shahed strike drones and drone decoys into Ukraine. Air defenses neutralized 57 enemy targets, reported the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The aggressor launched missiles from Voronezh Oblast of the Russian Federation, and drones from the directions of Millerovo, Oryol, Kursk, Bryansk, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk.

The air attack was repelled by anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Air Force and Defense Forces.

As a result of the combat operation, 57 drones were shot down in Poltava, Sumy, Kharkiv, Chernihiv, Mykolaiv, Kherson, Zaporizhzhia and Dnipropetrovsk oblasts. Another 27 enemy drones were lost from radars.

Consequences of the attack

Overnight, Russian troops launched a missile strike on Zaporizhzhia, killing one man and wounding 26 people.

The enemy targeted a residential building, which was destroyed as a result of the strike. The blast wave smashed windows and damaged the roof. 16 people were injured, including four employees of the State Emergency Service and a two-month-old baby.
