General Staff confirms strike on airfield in Primorsko-Akhtarsk, from where Russian Shahed drones are launched
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed the destruction of the Russian airfield in Primorsko-Akhtarsk, located in Russia’s Krasnodar Krai, according to a statement from the General Staff.
The objects were struck by units of the Unmanned Systems Forces in cooperation with other components of the Defense Forces.
According to the military, this airfield is used for storing, training, and launching Shahed strike drones across the territory of Ukraine, as well as servicing aircraft that perform tasks in the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson oblasts.
The airfield was hit late on Wednesday evening. According to locals, at least three drones were heard flying overhead.
