Russia strikes Ukraine with two Iskander missiles and 112 drones
Overnight, Russian forces attacked Ukraine with two Iskander ballistic missiles and 112 Shahed and other drones, as reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups destroyed 68 Russian drones in Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Kyiv, Kirovohrad, Dnipropetrovsk, and Odesa oblasts.
Another 43 enemy drones disappeared from radar without causing any damage. The military did not report any missile downings.
As a result of the overnight Russian attack, the Kharkiv, Sumy, Odesa, and Dnipropetrovsk oblasts were affected.
Kharkiv regional governor Oleg Synegubov, said that in Kharkiv at night, the wreckage of a Russian drone damaged the roof, elevator shaft, partially the technical floor, and the facade of an apartment building.
Cars, windows in nearby homes and a school were also damaged. One woman suffered an acute stress reaction.
A drone also attacked the Sumy territorial community: non-residential premises and 20 cars were damaged there, and a civilian was killed, the regional administration said. In Odesa Oblast, the Russians struck the civilian and energy infrastructure of Pivdenne. The attack injured two people, one of whom was sent to the hospital.
Meanwhile, in Kryvyi Rih, the rubble of a hotel that was attacked by Russian missiles the night before is being cleared. As of this morning, four people are known to have died and 31 injured.
