Kropyvnytskyi suffers most massive attack since beginning of war: 10 people injured
Kropyvnytskyi endured its most severe attack since the full-scale war began as Russian troops unleashed a massive wave of drones, striking residential areas and leaving a trail of destruction. The strikes resulted in casualties, including children.
Kirovohrad Oblast Governor Andriy Raykovych called it the city’s heaviest bombardment yet, with multi-story buildings and private homes bearing the brunt.
“As a mockery, enemy drones hit Myru Street (Peace Street),” Raykovych remarked.
The State Emergency Service initially reported eight casualties, including one child, with first aid provided and some requiring surgery.
A mobile “Point of Invincibility” was deployed at the strike sites.
By 7:21 a.m., the National Police updated the toll to ten wounded, four of them children, all receiving prompt medical attention.
Ukrainian Railways confirmed damage to railway infrastructure in Kirovohrad Oblast, forcing route changes and delaying trains. Within an hour, however, repairs were completed, and rail traffic through Kropyvnytskyi station resumed.
