Overnight, Russian forces launched 74 strike drones and other types of drones into Ukraine. The air defenses managed to shoot down 41 of them, as reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups.
Drones were shot down in the north, south, and east of the country. Another 20 enemy drones disappeared from radar without causing any fallout.
In Kharkiv, a massive attack by Shahed drones damaged civilian enterprises where a fire broke out, as well as surrounding private homes. Among the eight victims were three children, including a 9-month-old baby.
In addition to Kharkiv, the Odesa and Donetsk oblasts were affected by night strikes.
