Russian drone attack kills energy worker in Sumy

Russian forces attacked a service vehicle of energy workers in Sumy’s suburbs on Monday, killing one person and injuring three, the Sumy City Council reported.

Emergency services are responding at the attack site.

Situation in the region

Over the past 24 hours, Russian troops conducted 90 strikes on 33 settlements in Sumy Oblast, primarily targeting Sumy and Shostka districts, using rocket artillery, FPV drones, and explosive drops from drones, according to the Sumy Oblast Military Administration.

These attacks killed one other person and injured another.

Additionally, 371 people were evacuated from border municipalities in the region over the same period.
