Drones hit Russian Shahed drone factory in Tatarstan, chemical plant in Ivanovo Oblast
Unidentified drones attacked a Shahed drone production facility in Yelabuga, Tatarstan, and a chemical plant in Kineshma, Ivanovo Oblast, overnight into May 26, with Russia’s Defense Ministry claiming 96 drones downed, Russian Telegram channels Astra and Shot reported.
The Russian Ministry of Defense also reported on the UAV attack.
Residents of Yelabuga reported multiple explosions around 10:40 p.m., targeting a military drone factory built in 2023.

View in Telegram.In Kineshma, a chemical plant producing components for Russian equipment and weapons, including missiles, was also hit, according to Andriy Kovalenko, head of Ukraine’s Center for Countering Disinformation at the National Security and Defense Council.
