Russia attacks Ukraine with Iskander missiles and 93 drones. 63 targets neutralized
Overnight, Russian forces attacked Ukraine with two Iskander-M ballistic missiles and 93 drones. Ukrainian Defense Forces neutralized 63 aerial targets, according to the Ukrainian Air Force.
Starting at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Russia launched two Iskander-M ballistic missiles from occupied Crimea and 93 drones, including Shahed attack UAVs and decoy drones, from Shatalovo, Bryansk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia, and Chauda in occupied Crimea.
The air assault was countered by Ukrainian aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
By 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, air defenses had shot down or suppressed one Iskander-M missile and 62 drones across northern and eastern Ukraine.
Russian missile and drone strikes were recorded at 20 locations.
The overnight attack on Okhtyrka in Sumy Oblast injured 12 people, including two children.
