Flamingo manufacturer announces development of two ballistic missiles

Fire Point, the Ukrainian company producing the Flamingo cruise missile, revealed plans to develop FP-7 and FP-9 ballistic missiles, one capable of striking deep behind enemy lines, according to a press conference at the MSPO international defense exhibition in Poland, as reported by Militarnyi on Thursday.

The FP-7 missile has a range of up to 200 kilometers, a maximum speed of 1,500 meters per second, and a circular error probable (CEP) of 14 meters. Its warhead weighs 150 kilograms, with a maximum flight duration of 250 seconds. The company stated that the FP-7 is launched from a ground platform and designed for rapid strikes on mid-range targets.

The FP-9, in contrast, has a range of up to 855 kilometers, a speed of 2,200 meters per second, an 800-kilogram warhead, and a maximum flight altitude of 70 kilometers.

Developers noted that with an accuracy of 20 meters, the FP-9 can strike targets deep in enemy territory.
