Russia kills one, injures 13 in Zaporizhzhia barrage

Russian troops massively attacked Zaporizhzhia overnight into Tuesday, according to regional governor Ivan Fedorov and the State Emergency Service. The Kyiv and Sumy oblasts were also targeted.

.The enemy struck the city of Zaporizhzhia at least 10 times. The assault destroyed private homes and non-residential buildings.

Large-scale fires broke out: flames engulfed three residential buildings covering 350 square meters, two trucks in a parking lot and a service station spanning 600 square meters.

A 41-year-old man was killed in the city. 13 people were injured, including children aged 4 and 17 who are under medical supervision.

Meanwhile, in Kyiv Oblast, Russians struck an object where rescuers were working. It was a shopping center parking lot that caught fire overnight due to a drone attack.

Two firefighting vehicles were damaged there.

The Sumy territorial community also came under drone attack: two impacts were recorded, regional governor Oleg Hryhorov said.

As a result of the assault, part of the city was temporarily left without electricity. Utility workers are already restoring power.
